I watched Law Abiding Citizen recently on TVbyDirect, and this movie is one of the best movies I have seen lately. It has a suspenseful plot with twists that really intrigued me. I liked the conversational style a lot as well, and the main characters were excellent actors. The moral ideas that this movie entailed were interesting as well.
The main character is played by Gerard Butler. He was a good guy, and he was really smart; Butler was perfect in this role. He might have been crazy, but he had morals behind his extreme actions, and you have to give him credit for being so thought out and clever. His acting was excellent in this role; it was hard not to like him.
After Gerard decides to take justice into his own hands by brutally killing several people, Jamie Foxx, the prosecutor, steps in and more drama ensues. The plot twists continue on and you realize that the entire plot was against the prosecutor in the first place.
After Gerard is locked up the madness continues, and they wondering what is going on. You finally find out that Gerard has planned this entire thing thoroughly enough to be able to have a way to get out of the jail and continue his crimes while pretending to be locked in prison. Jamie Foxx discovers this plan and foils his plot.
This movie was exciting and intense, but I felt the ending was a little much; he had a secret tunnel to the outside? Really how did he get away with that. That part was a little much.
This movie was definitely worth the $4.95 I paid to watch it on DIRECTTV, and I recommend this movie to anyone who likes crime, drama, and suspense.
